Treatments Offered at ArthroWell Naturopathic

We are proud to offer our patients a range of natural treatments, from hands-on body work to supplementation with herbs and vitamins.  Our mission is to identify and treat the cause of disease over the long-term, while improving quality of life in the short-term.

Clinical Nutrition

Eating a healthy diet is the key to living without inflammation and pain.  The physicians at ArthroWell Naturopathic are here to educate you on the proper food choices specifically for you.

Herbal Medicine

The chemicals found in plants can act like medicine in the body.  Many drugs, like aspirin, have been derived from plant chemicals.  The physicians at ArthroWell Naturopathic are trained in the safe and effective use of herbal medicine in combination with your current prescription regimen.

   Acupuncture and Tui-Na

The effectiveness of acupuncture has been known for thousands of years, but medical research is finally validating its usefulness for pain management.  Dr. Frank LaRosa has clinical experience using acupuncture for pain management.  In addition to acupuncture, he also practices Tui-Na, a form of Chinese manipulative therapy.  Tui-Na is a hands-on therapy that  supports circulation and improves pain and mobility.

Supplements

While no vitamin supplement can replace a healthy diet, sometimes the body requires more of a specific nutrient for a certain amount of time.  We are the experts trained to know what nutrient(s) your body requires based on your symptoms, how much to take, and for how long.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy describes the use of water applications at different temperatures to promote circulation and reduce pain and inflammation.  We may recommend in-offce hydrotherapy procedures or demonstrate at-home techniques.

Physiotherapy

At ArthroWell Naturopathic, we find that hands-on physical therapy is an effective way to reduce pain and promote healing.  We use heat therapy, exercise techniques, tui-na massage, stretching, and transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation (TENS) to relieve pain while we work on addressing the underlying cause of your diagnosis.

Low Level Laser Therapy

(LLLT)

Also known as Cold Laser Therapy, this form of therapy uses laser stimulation on the skin at levels much lower than those used for surgery.  These painless laser devices are FDA approved for pain relief, and have been shown to penetrate the skin to stimulate healing at the cellular level by reducing inflammation and swelling.  This therapy is very helpful for painful arthritic joints.
